You are very welcome to join Milonguero Labs, intensive practica sessions, guided by Kyra and Natalia.
With great care we will guid you through the process of bringing more easiness, organic flow and dynamic in your close embrace dance. We both inspired by the work, among others, with Walter Gonzalez, milonguero dancer and teacher pur sang, and share the love to milonguero style. In the Labs we focus on working in deeply-connected embrace. It is more challenging way of dancing, incredibly effective in developing more body awareness and sensitivity, better posture, improving precision of the movement and intensity of connection in the dance.
We will explore together the different layers of communication in the dance, dive deep into the essential tango elements and master the basic rather than learn new figures. The new figures will appear as a result of improvisation within your own existing material.
As trained certified dance teachers, experienced social dancers and analytical movement observers, we have a wide range of tools to support you in this process. We pay equal attention to the leader and follower roles, as we dance both roles, and attach great importance to individual attention. Therefore we keep the group small (max 10 couples).
